drats .... new semesters of school life was filled with practical and lectures. Configuring devices now is up one level difficulty, its good to had attachment before that, thus having some experiences in handling them.

Its time to set some of my budget, for Christmas, etc. Christmas is drawing nearer, also for some of the Dragon's 21th Birthday, which is ending soon. This year seems to be a hectic one, working hard, with little outcome.

Perhaps the global recession, like buying computer now, seems unfavorable now, due to the increases of PC parts, etc.

At least now, I had some time in writing up, after that still had countless of assignments to be completed.

sighs.

this is what a student life it is.

The pressies were full of surprises too, Polaroid cameras... T shirts, special umbrella, etc. Thank you once again.

Netrider Competition is coming this Friday. OMG NYP, where one of the toughest elite was born there. I can sense that this competition will be a tough war to fight. Wish me luck. Hopefully once this is completed, there are other important commitments to be done, CCNA Exams, and maybe to get my driving license.

For any friends looking for good deals in computer speakers or perhaps others, do look for me, there is a clearance sale in one of the office.

six months had passed just fast and my attachments were over. Before that was a totally taxing jobs, rushing those weekly report every weekends and interim / final reports too.

My presentations were just having ten slides and mostly just technical and one topic.

Bad impression right? actually each slides will later come with a picture, and demonstration and a story to start with. At least better than some of my batch of friend which slide is full of texts.... making those judging panel so tired. This become my disadvantage as I was the last in the the batch to be accessed in my batch, hopefully they will probe into my weekly report, as the job I had done is really WRITTEN inside and WITH pictures.

Bad for me also, they started asking weird question, some are really out of scope question, I take an example: I had a picture of a wireless channel and a lecturer ask about wireless power? WTH???? I'm not about in Albert Einstein Laboratory ... perhaps some intelligent quotient reply expected? anyway my reply kept those judging panels discussing and arguing with their knowledge with each other.

Perhaps the judging panel were really bored and frustrated seeing the expectations of the students not meeting up with their standards.

Currently, I am not to used to it, since attachment were over, as this time, usually I am doing a summary of my weekly report, as it to be handled in promptly.

It is raining now and having some bad storms outside, some people says when there is a storms, you should not use the internet, when it was connected into the telephone outlet. as there is a possibility your computer stuffs maybe charred by a lighting... well I think SG should be okay right? I had braved my dear computer with many storms already :D

Hope he will like it. At least got a handful of friends to decide on the pressie or I think I will be feeling really bad for buying a pressie with no sincere, or none. Thank yingz for clearing this stuff. I am glad I am able to see some of my friends that I had not meet them quite sometimes.

Sometimes god may give in and take away something just a flash, the reality is what we will need some time to digest.

Life is full of changes... sometimes the road we plan, is expected to change as it goes on to the future.

Now at office updating and also fed up with the laptop. The text keep jumping suddenly to another sentence... that's really pissed me off.

My occupation can be be changed to "Surfing web in the office".

More pictures of my job scope will be uploaded soon.

as the title suggest... today a free day?
no no, even no lessons today, due to the first shift of practical test, I am still busy today, to Sim Lim Square, purchasing the stuffs for my cousin, a thumbdrive for her project. Years ago, we are only restricted to 1.44MB diskette storage, as whoever had a ZIP diskette, approx 100MB / 250MB is a steal. And and those with thuumbdrives at that era , maybe 32MB, 64MB, 128MB(considered had lots of cash to spend), you are considered a luxury person.

sis cellphone is faulty, and gotta make a trip to simei eastpoint (Sony Ericsson), for serving later.

bit of disappointment that silong power supply cannot be repaired, killed two of my protection fuses, with a loud pop at the first power up and second attempt with sparks, smoke and smell.
Guess the power supply decides to retire early. LOL on him for itchy fingers changing the box supply to 110V, instead of actual 230V. So friends reading, dun follow my friend footstep and adjust. Luckily for technology now, some power supply are universal(you dun even need to change the switch, it can auto detect the incoming voltage and power up.)

school life is okays, inside my planner also had had lots of items marked and the upcoming bbq.
the japanese tidbits had ended, lucky having support from my teachers, friends and team members friends, to successfully completing the event.

this year chinese new year, frankly for me, I dun really had the mood to proceed, test and major examinations coming, core competency test, vcn lab test, in lab test, coming in a chunk. I am going to be worn out soon after chinese new year.

20 mins to Christmas.

Woke up very early today, think about 5am. Preparing myself for the day, to the children home, Jamiya Children Home @ Chin Cheng Avenue, just beside Telok Kurau Secondary school.

Today Christmas eve morning weather is raining like cats and dogs, not a good start of the day.
Later on, met Steve, Silong and Qifeng @ the MRT station. Had a good breakfast near my house.
Took a cab there and brought those stuffs for those kiddies there.

Expected... we are the earliest there, but we are not well greeted there, we got a cold back, the guard worker there is giving us a cold shoulder back, in spite that it was raining heavily, just giving us the cannot be bothered look, open a simple gate... just too hard for him, hey come on, our hands were heavily utilized.

soon time past like a breeze and the rest of the volunteers had arrived, and we were brief for the duties to do for the day.

its nice being with kiddies, and think we are quite fortunate if we had a family.

the organizer had organize a mini race game for those kids. The kids really enjoy themselves with the games, and seeing them how unite in their teamwork. At end of the day, the winners were finalized. The result will be a heart piercing to some children. Some eventually cried upon the results, on excitement or disappointment. No worries for the disappointed team, lucky me I had brought a canister of Chupa Chups lollipops and some contraband items, chewing gums. and share among those, so everyone is a winner. The contraband items were the fastest of all to be finished, think some never eaten chewing gum in their whole life. In this time I saw them, from sadness, turned into a smile.

Event soon end and we are parted with the new friends we had met.
Silong and Steve went on there own way and I went to eat, together with Qifeng to the nearby Indian Muslim Cuisine Stall for a dinner, and went back home, to sleep la... so tired.

For this week, its examinations, cannot hope for high marks, that is obvious that I had screwed them upside. darn. why got a bad dream tt day i woke up late, and really spoil my mood on tt morning taking the examinations.

Once VCN paper is over, I went to VivoCity, together with silong, qifeng steve, zetian. Dinner at the nearby hawker center. Silong suggested Toy 'R' Us .. I was stunned... ??? Toy 'R' Us ??? ya there ? for ? playing. faintz.
Anyway follow them there and in the mean time while they are playing with each other, i walked around on the toy section, by section, thinking back on the toys i had possessed before. Silong broke steve specs by accident while playing the styrofoam sword. awwww poor thing, and to add on, qi feng took steve specs and run around, and see steve in despair mode.

anyway went to daiso later. Intended to buy some stuffs, but in the end ended with only a can of azuki beans, maybe for doing some desserts.

took a bus back home and returning back home just in time to catch a drama.

It is such a sore for my elective module members.... are really a hard nutcase.
finalizing and reporting everything I do, scouting, I do, in the end say change idea never inform me...

but lucky to pull back to track on what i'm doing halfway or my efforts will surely go down to the drain.
